OBITUARY
Mr. Carl F. H. Huezenroeder of
Broadview, who died yesterday was
born in Hanover, Germany 86 years
ago, and came to Adelaide from Ham
burg in. 1861. He lived in the city for
several years before going north where
he started a general store. Later he
crossed the Barrier Ranges to Wil-
cannia, where he lived for two years
From there Mr. Heuzenroeder went to
the Mount Barossa goldfields and after
eight years' stay, returned to Adelaide
where he was employed in a store in
Hindley street. During his earlier life
he took an interest in gymnastics and
athletics. A son and a daughter sur
vive him.
