DEATH OF CARL HEUZENROEDER.
Mr. Carl Heuzenroeder, who died at Blum-
berg on Sunday, August 30, was a very old
and respected resident of that town. Mr.
Heuzenroeder had attained the age of 96
years and 6 months, and almost to the end
enjoyed good health. He was born on Feb-
ruary 7,1800 in Duderstadt in the province
of Hanover, Germany. He studied chemistry
and received his diplomas in Germany where
he was in business as chemist and merchant.
Mr Heuzenroeder arrived in South Australia
in 1855, and has since resided principally in
Blumberg and Lobethal, where he practised as
a doctor and chemist.
