(Continued from Page 22)MR. G. WATERFORDMr. George Waterford, general sec-retary of the Australian Natives' As-sociation, died last night at his residence in Barrelder-road. Torrens Park,aged 64. Born at Freeling on April18, 1866, he came to Adelaide as a youthand entered the office of Messrs. C. vonBertouch & Co., where he obtained aninsight into real property work. Mr.Waterford became a prominent landbroker. In 1910 he Joined with Mr. G.V. Moore, and two years later Mr. W.L. Whitham entered the firm. Mr.Waterford was connected with theA.N.A. for over 40 years. He was ap-pointed general secretary in this Statein 1898. and saw the association growfrom about 100 members to its presentstrength. He was made Federal presi-dent last year. He leaves a widow andtwo sons, Messrs. L. M. and O. R.Waterford.
