OBITUARY:
The death, is announced of Mrs. Theresa
Perne, an old resident of the Tanunda
district. She was the eldest daughter of
the late Mr. C. Heuzenroeder (who was
a chemist at Birdwood) and she arrived
in South Australia with her parents in
the early fifties. The family first lived at
Tweedvale and next at Birdwood. Later
an uncle of Mrs. Perne (Mr. Joseph. Heu-
zenroeder) opened the first chemist's
shop at Tanunda, and she went to reside
with him. -The deceased was married
twice. Two sons and three daughters
survive, and there are also 10 grandchil-
dren and two great-grandchildren.
