A FARMER KILLED.
Balaklava, July 14.
An accident by which Mr. G. A. Stein-
wedel lost, his life occurred last evening.
Mr. Steinwedel went to the haystack to
feed his horses. He apparently pulled some
sheaves but of the stack for the purpose,
when about four tons slipped and com-
pletely buried him. Mrs. Steinwedel, think-
ing he was a long time, went out to the
stack, and saw what had occurred. By the
time assistance was obtained and the hay
moved Mr. Steinwedel was dead.
