DROWNED IN A CREEK.
HAMILTON, Tuesday.-During the flooded state
of the Violet Creek last week Mr. Job Francis,
well-known resident of Yulecart, was washed away
while removing sheep to high ground, The body
was recovered on Sunday. At a magisterial inquiry
a finding of accidentally drowned was returned
Mr. Francis, who was 80 years of age, was a retired
school teacher.
