RAINBOW.
A painful accident happened on Satur-
day morning to Albert Friebel son of
Mr. Wm. Friebel. It appears that the
boy was riding after some horses for
the purpose of yarding them when some
of the animals attempted to kick the
horse on which he was mounted when
it suddenly plunged on it's side in
order to avoid the kick with the re-
sult that young Friebel was unseated.
He managed to hold on to the reins
and was dragged for some distance be-
fore he released his grip. Subsequently
he pluckily remounted the horse and
rode home. An examination of his
injuries revealed an abrasion on his
head, whilst he had sustained a frac-
ture of his left arm above the elbow.
The boy is now progressing satisfac-
torily towards recovery.
