Death of Mr. C. W. F. Trapmann.—
On Sunday afternoon Mr. C. W. F. Trap-
mann, late of the firm of Strutton & Trap-
mann, died at his residence, Hindmarsh.
Deceased arrived in the colony in 1849, and
was in business as a brewer and beer botiler
for many years. He was in the Volunteer
Military Force under Colonel Beck, and
attained the rank of Major. He was on the
Commission of the Peace until he resigned
some few months ago. After the dissolution
of the firm of Strutton & Trapmann he was
engaged as an hotelkeeper at Port Pirie. Mr.
Trapmann was a Freemason, being connected
with the St. Andrew's Lodge of the Scotch
Constitution. He was three times Mayor of
Hindmarsh.
