A FARMER KILLED.
Nhill, November 10.
Mr. W. Eichner, one of the best-known
farmers in the district, met with a tragic
death to-day. He was engaged in round-
ing up sheep, when the horse he was rid-
ing slipped and threw him on his head.
Dr. Ryan, of Nhill, was sent for, and upon
examination found he was suffering from
severe concussion of the brain. An opera-
tion was performed but the injured man
died a few hours later.
