OBITUARY.
MRS. WILLIAM DUFFIELD.
Another old resident of the Mount Barker
district has passed away in the person of
Mrs. William Duffield, of Wistow. The
deceased, who was born in England 84
years ago, came to South Australia with her
husband in 1851 and had resided in this
district for 60 years. Mr. Duffield died
in June, 1909, and his wife passed away last
Saturday. There are three sons (Messrs. J.,
W. and T. Duffield, of the Willowie district),
two daughters (Mrs. R. Piggott, of Willowie,
and Mrs. James Harrip, of Wistow), 27
grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The interment took place at the Zion Hill
Cemetery on Tuesday, the Rev. S. Kessell
officiating.
