A FARMER KILLED.      
Quorn, July 21.
Mr. John French, of Willochra, was  
killed on Friday night. The deceased, who
had lived at Willochra for many years, was
a farmer and grazier. He was  
returning from Willochra with        
his mail mounted on an old  
horse, which he had ridden many times,
when the animal shied, throwing Mr.
French on his head on a sharp stone.  
He lingered till early on Saturday morn-
ing. Dr. Gibson was quickly on the    
scene in his motor car, but the patient
succumbed at about 3 a.m.
