Mr. J. Tregeagle.— The death is announced
of Mr. John Tregeagle, which took place at his
grandson's residence at Hilton on August 28.
The late Mr. Tregeagle, who died of senile decay,
was a colonist of fifty years, having arrived in
the ship Java in 1840, and was for many years
a resident of Teatree Gully. He left one son,
four daughters, and forty grand and eighteen
great grandchildren.
