OBITUARY
MR. R. A. HENSELEIT
The death occurred in the Wagga
Base Hospital yesterday afternoon
of Mr. R. A. (Alf) Henseleit, of
'Devonia,' Mangain, at the age of
59 years. He is survived by his
wife; one daughter, Edna, and one
son, Gordon, all of Ganmain; three
brothers, Messrs. A. A. Henseleit,
of Methul, Albert of Woorak (V.),
and Otto of Queensland; and three
sisters, Mrs. F. Voight, of Nhill (V.).
Mrs. A. Smith of Woorak (V.) and
Miss L. Henseleit of West Australia.
The late Mr. Henseleit was born at
Millicent (S.A.). When he was a
boy his parents sold out and moved
to Woorak (V.). Later he and his
brother went to Barmedman and
took up farming. He returned to
Woorak and married Miss Mary
Hann. The brothers then shifted
to Methul, where they continued in
partnership until Mr. Henseleit pur
chased a farm at Mangain, where
he resided for 20 years until his
death. He was always a keen sport,
and a good tennis and cricket
player. He was a member of the
Lysterfield Tennis Club for some
years, secretary of the Mangain
Tennis Club and a member of the
Mangain Cricket Club. He was also
a member of the Mangain Parents
and Citizens' Association. The
funeral will take place this
afternoon, the cortege moving from
the Ganmain Methodist Church,
after a service to start at 230, tor
the Ganmain cemetery.
