Mr.Pansell was in his usual apparently robusthealth on Saturday, and was about the town allday doing business. About 4 o'clock in theafternoon he was at the new public schools nowin course of erection (of which he was Clerk ofWorks), when he suddenly dropped down in afit. He was at once removed to his home andmedical aid procured. It was then ascertalnedthat the right lobe of the brain, and all his leftside were paralysed, and his case was regardedas very critical. He remained in an uncon-scions state up till Tuesday morning, when hedied shortly after 8 o'clock. Mr. Paimeil wasone of the oldest residents at Mount Gambler, and was held in very general respect. He wasa member of the first District Council esta-blished here, and throughout his career was aprominent member of the Wesleyan Church. He leaves a wife and eight children to lamenttheir loss.
