SUDDEN DEATH AT VIRGINIA.VIRGINIA, December 3.— On Saturday lastMrs. Eliza Jarmyn, a very old and respectedresident of Virginia, died suddenly. She hadbeen about all the morning in apparently herusual health, and at about 1 o'clock was stand-ing in front of her house talking to herdaughter, Mrs. William King, when she fell totbe groond and expired almost immediately.The deceased lady arrived in South Aus-tralia by the Sultana in I85I withher late husband, who predeceased her abouttwelve years ago. She was 72 years of age and hadresided in the Virginia district nearly eversince her imnl in the colony. The funeraltook place on Sunday, when a very largenumber followed the remains to the SalisburyCemetarv. The funeral service was con-ducted by the Rev. T. Ward, the incumbentat the Church of England, of which body thedeceased was a most devoted adherent.
