SUICIDE BY SHOOTING.Inquiry into the cause of death of HermanTiedeman, who had been a farmer residing atPleasant Creek, about 25 miles from Young, on theBland Road, was held at his late residence onMonday last, before Mr. S. Robinson, P.M.(district coroner), and a jury of five. The followingevidence was adduced :— .

SUICIDE OF A SELECTOR.
I BY TELEGRAPH](FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.)YOUNG, TUESDAY.The body of a well-known resident of the district,Mr. Herman Tiedeman, a selector of Bland, wasfound on an adjoining paddock on Sunday last. Deceasedwas missed from home on Thursday. Infor-mation was given to the police, and a search was instituted,leading to the discovery of the deceased by oneof his sons. When deceased left home on Thursday hetook a gun with him, as if intending to shoot hares.From the position of the gun and the body of the deceasedthere was no doubt that he committed suicide.An inquest was held on the body, and a verdict ofsuicide was returned.
