The marriage of Lilian, youngest
daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr.
Jas. Kelly, of "Cambusdoon," Yerong
Creek, with Mr. Herbert Page was
solemnised at "Cambusdoon" on 7th
April by the Rev. Wm. Powell, of
Culcairn. The bride who was given
away by her brother, looked well in
a gown of white Hypatia satin, the
bodice being made with pinafore
effect, over silk shadows lace and
ninon, ornamented with pearls, while
the waist, swathed with white satin,
was finished with a posy of orange
blossom and shell-pink tulle roses.
The skirt had a double flounce of
shadow lace, and the train was lined
with pink tulle. The long tulle veil
was arranged as a mob cap, and fell
from a chaplet of orange blossom.
She carried a bouquet of white roses,
lilies, and ferns, the gifts of the bride-
groom. The bridesmaid was Miss
Merle Ravenscroft. Her dainty frock
of canna-pink crepe de chine silk was
trimmed with shadow lace, pearls, and
touches of emerald, and worn with a
mob cap of ninon and pink bebe roses.
She carried a bouquet of pink cactus,
dahlias and ferns, which with a
Nellie Steward bangle, was the gift
of the bridegroom. The best man
was Mr. N. J. Boot (Bank of Now
South Wales, Cootamundra).
After the wedding tea was served
Mr. and Mrs. Page left by motor for
Culcairn, en route to Melbourne,
Tasmania, and Sydney, the bride
travelling in a tailored costume of
of navy serge and a small black vel-
vet military hat. She also wore a
handsome set of black wolf furs,
the gift of the bridegroom.
