The Late Mrs Jarrick.
Sympathy has been expressed to
Mr G. A. Jarrick, of "Rosedale,"
Tootool, over the death of his mother,
a very old and highly respected resi-
dent of this district, who had attained
the ripe age of 91 years. The inter-
ment took place on Wednesday at
The Rock. The cortege was a long
one and included a number of rela-
tives of the deceased. The funeral
arrived at The Rock Cemetery at 2
o'clock, and the interment took place
in the Lutheran portion. There were
a great many floral tributes. Mrs
Jarrick, relict of the late Christian
Jarrick, formerly of Jindera, leaves
three sons, August and William of
The Rock, and Adolf, of "Rosedale."
There are 40 grandchildren, 20 great-
grandchildren. The deceased was born
in Mecklenburg, Germany, in 1821,
and came to Australia in 1838. She
lived the first portion of her life in
South Australia, and the last 42 years
in New South Wales. She was a
well-known identity in several dis-
tricts and was esteemed for her many
fine qualities. Her three sons were
present at "Rosedale" when she died.
The pall-bearers were Messrs John
Kohlbagen, Henry Crichton, Freder-
ick Byrnes, and Charles Kiel. The
Rev. F. A. Hartmann, Lutheran Min-
ister of Milbrulong, conducted the
service at the house and also at the
grave.
