19669OBITUARYMrs Johanne Juliane Schuetz. nee
Stephan, who died recently at Point
Pass, was bom in Lower Silesia, Ger-
manv, in 1644. She came to South
Australia with relations in 1862, and
went to Flaxman's Valley, Angaston,
where she married Mr. Gottlieb
Schuetz, who died in 1927. Mr.
and Mre. Schuetz were among the
first settlers at Point Pass in 1869. Six
sons survive— Messrs, J. W. Schuetz,
of Julia; J. A. Schuetz, of Kapunda;
R. H., J. E., ami J. J. Schuetz, of
Point Pass, and F. E. Schuetz, of Nott's
Well: also one daughter. Mrs H.
Schild, of Point Pass. There are 39
grandchildren and 50 greatgrandchil-
dren.
