PIETSCH. The death occurred at a
private hospital at Dimboola last week
of Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Pietsch, a well
known resident of the Kewell district.
Deceased had been on a visit to her
daughter, Mrs. O. F. Shwartz at Kat-
yil. Mrs. Pietsch, whose maiden name
was Zadow was in her 69th year, hav-
ling been born at Palmer, South Austra-
lia, on August 29, 1873, and resided
there until her marriage in April, 1894,
to the late Mr J. P. Pietsch. Soon
after her marriage she went with her
late husband to Kewell, where the lat-
ter took up land pursuits. She was a
loyal member of the Kewell Lutheran
Church and was widely known and es-
teemed. Her husband predeceased her
about six years ago. She is survived
by four sons and five daughters. viz,
Messrs O. P., H. A. and L.A. Pietsch
(all of Kewell), Rev. E. J. Pietsch
(Queensland), Ruby (Mrs. H. G.
Schultz, Murtoa), Erna (Mrs. W.
Schneider; Warracknabeal), Frieda
(Mrs. Pribbenow, Queensland), Olga
(Mrs. O. F . Schwarz, Katyil), and Doris
(Mrs. T. W. Koch, N.S.W.). She also
leaves 29 grandchildren. one brother,
Mr. C. G. Zadow (of Hahndorf, S.A.),
and two sisters, Mrs. Wotzke (Hahn-
dorf, S.A.) and Mlrs. Kowald (Katan-
ning, W.A.). The funeral took place
at the Murtoa Ceinetery.
