PTE. FEANK MOAD KILLED
IN ACTION.
We regret to report that the sad
news was received on Monday that
Pte. Frank Mond, son of Mr. A.
Moad, Springhill, had been killed in
action. No particulars are to hand,
but he had been fighting in France.
Pte. Moad enlisted early, and up to
his death had been very successful.
He fought at Gallipoli, and did not
get wounded. He was respected all
over the district. He was particular-
ly well known as a footballer.
