OBITUARY
MRS. JOHANNA MOAD

One of Guildford's best-known resi-
dents, Mrs. Johanna Moad, passed away
at her residence, 115 Military Road,
Guildford on December 1. The deceased
(who was perhaps better known as Josie
O'Neill) was the daughter of Mrs. Brid-
get O'Neil, and the late Mr. Michael
Joseph O'Neill, who controlled the Guild-
ford Picture Theatre for many years.
Mrs. Moad will be especially remembered
by many of the patrons of the Guildford
Theatre Shop, of which she was in
charge for many years. She is survived
by a husband, Mr. Arthur Moad, her
mother and sisters Doris (Mrs. Enrlght,
Fairfield), Gladys (Mrs. White, of Wel-
lington, N.S.W.), and brothers Gerald
and Michael, to whom deepest sympathy
is extended on her sudden passing.
