MRS. WHEATLEV, wife of Mr. W. H.
Wheatley, the well-known stock and
station agent of Goulburn, died at her
husband's residence, "Hollwood"
Eldon-street, Goulburn, on Saturday,
aged 54 years, the cause of death be
ing an internal complaint. The late
Mrs. Wheatley had been a sufferer
for the past eighteen months, and for
some time past little or no hope had
been entertained for her recovery.
She passed away as stated in the
presence of all the members of her
family except one son (Aubrey) who
resides at Forbes. The deceased lady
was born at Hollwood," near Bath-
urst, and was a daughter of Captain
James Trevarthen. She leaves, be
sides her husband, five sons and three
daughters. The sons are Messrs.
Aubrey (Forbes), Albert, Leslie, and
Roy, who are in business-in Goulburn,
and Wallace, who is at college. The
daughters are Mrs. W., Bladwell,
junior, Goulburn, Mrs. P. H. Cooper,
of St. Mary's, and Miss Lethie
Wheatley, Goulburn. Deceased was
a sister of Mrs. Milne and Mrs. W.
Mills, Goulburn, Mrs. Starr, Dalton,
and Mrs. Kingham of Millthorpe. The
brothers are Mr. Wm. Trevarthen,
Stock Inspector, Goondiwindi, and
formerly of Goulburn, and Mr. J. H.
Trevarthen, of Sydney. The funer-
al took place on Sunday afternoon,
and was attended by a very large and
representative gathering.
