DEATH AT SPRINGHILL
Word was received in Orange yes-
terday of the death of Mr. Thomas
Tressider, one of the oldest and most
universally respected residents of the
district, at the age of 79 years. He
had been ailing for some time, but
was not compelled to take to his bed;
in fact, he passed away whilst sitting
in his chair, the cause being heart
failure. The funeral will take place
this afternoon, when the remains
will be interred in the Spring Hill
cemetery.
