Thomas Parkhouse Webber and Jane Oxland
 

Thomas Parkhouse Webber was born in Devon ca 1811 and was the son of Thomas Parkhouse Webber.  Nothing is known of his early life.


Thomas married Jane Oxland ca 1830.  Jane Oxland was born in Somerset ca 1800 and was the daughter of John and Tamson Oxland.


Thomas and Jane had 5 children in Devon:  Jane (ca 1832), Thomas (died before 1857), Daniel (1837-1875), Ellen (1838-1938, born Cove) and Harriett (1840-1921, born Tiverton).


Thomas’s occupation was agricultural labourer (1841).


Thomas, Jane and their four children (Jane, Daniel, Ellen and Harriett) arrived in Victoria on 30 June 1857 aboard the Tudor.  They settled in Warrnambool where Thomas was a carpenter.


Jane died on 3 December 1877 and was buried on 5 December 1877 in the Warrnambool cemetery.  Thomas died on 11 August 1882 in Warrnambool.  He was buried on 12 August 1882 next to his wife in the Warrnambool cemetery.
