OBITUARY
MRS. E. B. RASMUS
Mrs Elizabeth Bertha Rasmus,
just 11 days short of 88 years, died
at the home of her son, Mr G. E.
Rasmus, Angaston, on October 3.
She was Miss Seidel, and was born
at Lights Pass on October 14,
1860, being bereft of her mother
in infancy. She married Mr Hans
Rasmus, who predeceased her 38
years ago. She was a faithful mem- ;
her of Sedan Lutheran Church and
was a highly respected member of
the community. Only in the last
few years did her health fail. Rev.
J. Riedel ministered at the funeral
at Sedan on October 5, bearers be-
ing Messrs C. Liersch, O. Graetz.,
P.. Grieger and C. Rasmus (grand-
children). Left are 3 sons and 4
(daughters: Emil, Sedan; Jack, To
| witta: Ewald, Angaston; Annie i
(Mrs R. Eindner), Tanunda; Ida
(Mrs P. Graetz), Sedan; Alma
(Mrs Ed. Liersch), Tanunda; and
Laurine (Mrs P. Grieger), Sedan.
There are 28 grandchildren and 23
! great-grandchildren.
