9505OBITUARY
MRS. LOUISA ZEINERT
The ranks of the old residents were
further depleted by the death on Sun
day of Mrs. Louisa Zeinert in her 96th
year. Born in Berlin, deceased came
to this country when an infant, and
after a residence in South Australia
and several parts of Victoria, she
finally settled in Wodonga, where she
has been living for over 40 years.
The late Mrs. Zeinert was married
at the age of 18 in Adelaide, and
leaves a family living of five sons and
two daughters. Her husband pre-
deceased her about 16 years ago.
Despite her great age deceased was
remarkably active for one so old.
About three months ago she fell and
broke her thigh, but apparently had
recovered from that, as a few days
before her death she was able to make
some use of the injured limb-thanks
to the attention given by Dr. Grant.
Pneumonia set in about three days be-
fore the end.
The burial took place at Wodonga on
Monday, when the last rites of the
Lutheran Church were read by Rev.
Rudolph.
McCullough and Dunstan had
charge of the funeral arrangements.
