MRS. E. A. LINDNER
The death occurred at her homelast night of a very old and esteemedresident of the Coolamon district, Mrs.Alice Lindner, of 'Lindoris,' Tooyal,after a long illness at the age of 68years. She is survived by her hus-band, Mr. Ernest A. Lindner, and oneson, Mr. Eric Lindner, of Tallimba.Her funeral will leave her late homeat 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon forthe Coolamon cemetery.

MRS. E. A. LINDNERThe funeral of Mrs. Alice Lindner,of " Lindoris," Tooyal, who died at herresidence on Friday, after a long ill-ness, at the age of 68 years, took placeyesterday, afternoon. The cortege,which was a large and representativeone, consisted of relatives and friendsfrom Sydney, Walla Walla, Burrum-buttock, Tooyal, Wagga, Millwood,North Berry Jerry and Coolamon, andmoved from " Lindoris" after a veryimpressive service conducted by theRev. W. Bennett, of Coolamon. Theinterment took place in the familyportion of the Church of Englanddivision of the Coolamon cemetery, theRev. W. Bennett officiating at thegraveside. The casket was carried tothe grave by Messrs. Eric Lindner(son), L. Lindner (nephew), FrankLindner, Edward Zweck, W. Howell(brothers-in-law) and O. Schilg(nephew). The pall bearers wereMessrs. L. and Colin Dyce, Essel Tok-ley, Alfred and Albert Armstrong, andKeith and Theo Lindner (nephews),and Oliver Hancock. The floral traywith its many floral tributes was car-ried by Messrs. Max Lindner, DavidSchilg (nephews), W. Jones and AlfredZweck (brother-in-law). The chiefmourners at the graveside were thebereaved husband (Mr. E. A. Lindner),Mr. Eric Lindner (son), Mrs. A. Ran-kin, of Corowa (sister), Keith, and RayLindner (grandsons), Mr, and Mrs. W.Howell, of Walla, Mr. and Mrs. FrankLindner, of Burrumbuttock, Mrs. M.Schilg, of Orelda, Mr. and Mrs. Ed-ward Zweck, Alfred Zweck (brothersand sisters-in-law). Max, Theo andElma Lindner (nephews and niece),Messrs. O. Schilg and David Schilg,Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Lindner, of WallaWalla (nephews and nieces), and manyfriends from all parts of RiverinaAmong the many wreatns was a floraltribute from the directors, shareholdersand staff of the Coolamon Co-op. So-ciety Ltd. Present at the gravesidewere Messrs. A. Armstrong, G. Bart-lett, H. Lewis, Oliver Hancock, L. C.Dyce (all directors of the CoolamonCo-op. Society), Mr. J. M'Lean (man-ager), and representatives of theF. and S. Association, Messrs. L. C.Dyce, Hancock, G. Bartlett, C. F.Moller and E. Hancock. Mrs. Lind-ner was married at Mongmony(N.S.W.) and she was a daughter ofthe late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sanger,of Tooyal. she had resided in theTooyal district for 45 years and washeld in high, esteem by a wide circleof friends. In addition to her husbandand son, she is survived by one sister,Mrs. A. Rankin, of Corowa, and ninegrandchildren. She took an activepart in all church functions andpatriotic affairs, and all work for thewelfare of the district. The funeralarrangements were carried out by Mr.J. C. M'Donald, of Wagga.
