Mrs. Frederick Unger, wife of Mr. Frede-rick Unger, farmer. Square Mile, died verysuddenly on Wednesday evening while beingconveyed into the town to attend a continen-tal, Cause of death, heart disease. She was69 years of age. Her husband and a familyof three sons and three.daughters survive her.

SUDDEN DEATH. - Mrs. Johanna H.
Unger, wife of Mr. Frederick Unger, farmer,Square Mile, died with awful suddenness onWednesday evening. She intended to go tothe show continental with her daughter-in*law, Mrs. E Unger. Taking her seat in thebuggy, she had gone about a mile, when shemade an exclamation that she was ill, andfell over on her daughter - in - law'sshoulder, dead. Of course a returnwas made for home, and Dr. MacDonaldsent for, The deceased, it was known,suffered from an affection of the heart whichmight end in sudden death at any time, anda certificate to that effect was granted, sothat no enquiry was neoessary. The deceased,who was 69 years of age, was born in Germany, but met her husband at Blumberg, inSouth Australia, of which she was a colonistof 52 years. She came to Mount Gambierwith her husband 43 years ago, and Mr.Unger took up the section on which he nowresides and where he has lived ever since.The deceased leaves three sons-Messrs.Gustav, Herman, and Edward Unger, ofMount Gambier, and three daughters-Mrs.C. Gaden, of Mount Gambier, Mrs. Sudholz,of Horsham, and Mrs. Przygoda, of nearAdelaide, and 19 grandchildren. The funeralwas held yesterday and was numerouslyattended. The Rev. F.
